FirstSource II is the follow-on Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the original FirstSource program that was started in 2005, and is a mandatory-for-consideration contract for DHS agencies. It is a 100% small business contract with five socioeconomic tracks.

Blue Tech is proud to support the vital missions of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) via the FirstSource II contract. FirstSource II is a collection of a multiple-award contracts available for use agency-wide in DHS for value-added reseller (VAR) services and information technology commodities and solutions. The program was competed as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 541519 (150 employees) and Blue Tech was awarded three contracts under the categories of HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Small Business. The maximum cumulative value of all contracts awarded under FirstSource II is $3 billion.

Any commercially available information technology (IT) product is available under FirstSource II and is categorized in the following five categories:

• Small Form Factor Devices (such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, etc)
• Static Devices (such as desktops, workstations, monitors, etc)
• Domain Devices (such as routers, switches, blades, servers, etc)
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Devices (such as virtual machines and applications, etc)
• Peripheral Devices (such as printers, USB sticks, scanners, etc)
