NIH CIO-CS Contract Awarded to Blue Tech

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded Blue Tech Inc. of San Diego, California a prime contract on CIO-CS, NIH’s Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for IT commodities and services. Each CIO-CS contract has a ceiling value of $20B over the next 10 years and can be used by any federal civilian or DoD agency. CIO-CS covers everything IT including commodities and commodity-enabling solutions on-site or in the cloud. These include hardware and software, deployment and installation, maintenance and training, enterprise licenses and extended warranties, engineering studies, cloud, mobility, collaboration tools, web and video-conferencing, cyber security, virtualization, health and biomedical IT, and more.

The contracts become active for ordering on May 1, 2015.
